Update on accessible toilet building work
Mon Nov 14 10:04amThe work on the new accessible toilet, off the learning street, has been halted due to finding asbestos in the floor vinyl from the existing space. The vinyl has not been disturbed in anyway, meaning there is no risk to anyone.
Work is to be carried out next weekend – Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 Nov. Preparation for isolating the site will begin on Thursday 17th. Students in Pukekura and Giuseppe Sarto will be accessing their rooms during the school day in a different way and will be storing their bags in an alternative place for a few days. Teachers will be working to ensure this is very clear for all students.
If you have any questions regarding this, please do not hesitate to be in touch with me.
